God Made Me (Hear this poem)

God made you,

God made me,

God made the land,

God made the sea.

He made the sky and sun above

He made the plants and morning dove

He made the creatures for us to love

And God made me.

To the Farm (Hear this poem)

Horses, donkeys, cows that moo,

Chickens, kittens, piglets too.

Fish that swim down in the pond,

Ducklings quacking all day long.

All these animals you can see

If you go to the farm with me.

The Farmer (Hear this poem)

Sun is coming up.

Farmer's out the door.

He will go to milk the cows

And start his daily chores.

Sun is going down.

Horse is in the stable.

All the fields are planted now,

Supper's on the table.

Take Me Out to the Barnyard (Hear this poem)

Take me out to the barnyard.

Take me out there right now.

Show me the cows, pigs, and horses, too.

I hear an oink and a neigh and a moo.

there are chickens laying their eggs.

If they don't lay it's a shame.

Oh, it's one, two, three eggs today

And I'm glad I came!

Ice Cream (Hear this poem)

I like ice cream. Yes, I do!

One scoop for me?

No! Make it two!

Hmmmm! Two scoops of ice cream,

I want more!

How about three?

No, make that four!

1, 2, 3, 4, Splat!

"Oh, no! It's on the floor!"

I Have a little Spider (Hear this poem)

I have a little spider,

And I'm very fond of him;

He climbs on to my shoulder,

and then up to my chin.

He crawls down my arm, and then down my leg.

Now he's a tired little spider

So I put him into bed.

Lunch Box, Lunch Box (Hear this poem)

Lunch box, lunch box,

What's for lunch?

Peanut butter sandwich

And celery to crunch,

Carrots and banana

And an apple to munch.

A bite and a bite

And a bite and a BITE,

Now I'm heavy

And my lunch box is light!

Apples (Hear this poem)

Apples, apples, one, two, three,

Apples for you, apples for me.

Apples big, apples small.

Apple trees tiny, apple trees tall.

Apples sour, apples sweet,

Apples, apples, are nice to eat.

A Little Red Apple

A little red apple hung high in a tree.

I looked up at it, and it looked down at me.

"Come down, please," I called.

And what do you suppose?

That little red apple dropped right on my nose!

Raccoon Song (Hear this poem)

Raccoon sleeps in a hollow tree

While the sun shines on you and me.

Sleep, little raccoon,

Sleep, little raccoon,

Warm and cozily.

In the darkest part of night

Raccoon has the best eyesight.

Look, little raccoon,

Look, little raccoon,

My, your eyes are bright.

Raccoon hardly makes a sound

when he prowls all around.

Hunt, little raccoon,

Hunt, little raccoon,

Find food on the ground.

An owl sat alone on the branch of a tree

And he was as quiet as quiet could be.

His eyes were open, and round like this: OO

He looked all around, not a thing did he miss.

Some children crept up to the branch of the tree

And they were as quiet as quiet could be.

Said the wise old owl, "Too wooh! Too wooh!"

then up jumped the children and away they flew!

Sleeping Bats (Hear this poem)

Bats are sleeping,

Bats are sleeping,

Upside down,

Upside down,

Sleeping in the morning sun,

Waiting for the night to come,

Then they'll fly all around,

Then they'll fly all around.

Three Black Bats (Hear this poem)

Three black bats

Three black bats

In black hats

In black hats

They all jumped into the Halloween brew

They teased the ghosts and the goblins too

Have you ever seen such a hullabaloo?

On Halloween

On Halloween

Mr. Jack-o-lantern

very round and fat

He has a yellow candle

right beneath his hat.

It makes him look happy

and very, very bright

When he winks and smiles at me

on spooky Halloween night

Skeleton Parade (Skeleton Parade)

The skeletons are out tonight.

They march about the street

With bony bodies, bony heads,

and bony hands and feet.

Bony bony bony bones

with nothing in between

Up and down and all around

they march on Halloween.
