practice these at home. Please do not have the children practice the
cursive letters until we learn them at school. |

Unit 25 - pp. 162 - 167 - This lesson
teaches the concept of compound words. Children learn the strategy
of thinking of some long words as being made up of two shorter words that
have familiar spelling patterns.
