DEAR = Drop Everything And Read

PACK RAT = PACK up, Read Aloud Time

During DEAR time, I pull out small groups for reading and writing instruction and individuals for book conferences.

As you can see, our day is academic from 8:00-3:00. Parents often ask, "Will my child miss anything important if I pick them up early?" The answer is always YES - so please have your child to school on time and please don't pick your child up early unless it's absolutely necessary. Thanks!
