Adult Education in the Faith

Picture
Adult Ed. is offered to all parishioners, post-Confirmation and up.  For the 2012-13 year, This group meets in room 308 of the school building from 9:15-19:15 (PREP time).  Inititially, the Adult Ed. will be viewing and discussing Fr. Robert Barron's film series, "Catholicism".

In Oct., the class, in response to the Pope's call for a "Year of Faith", will revisit the Catholic Catechism.  A program provided through Ascension Press entitled "Pillars" will review and discuss the entire catechism.  The program is divided into the 4 pillars of the catechism beginning witht the first pillar, The Creed.  Each Pillar study program is 12 weeks long.

There is no cost for any of the Adult Ed. programs, however, for the Pillars program, please bring a copy of the catechism with you.  There are reading assignments prior to each class.  For more information contact Fr. Jerry Strange at the church or jstrange@stedward.org.
