Kindergarten Teachers Briana Shacklett I love teaching and look forward to my second year teaching Kindergarten. I taught third grade for 10 1/2 years at St. Edward before moving to Kindergarten last year. I attended St. Edwards for 8 years and graduated in 1991 and graduated from FRHS in 1995. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from MTSU. I have been married 11 years to John, and we have a SES first grader named Hunter. I have 7 brothers and sisters and 19 nieces and nephews. We have had a great time this summer reading books, swimming, visiting the library, and vacationing in Destin with our family. I can’t wait to hear what you have been doing this summer! My philosophy of teaching is to provide a caring and nurturing environment that helps children expand their knowledge and work with one another to learn. I believe children learn many different ways so I use many different ways of teaching to reach all learners. I love to use technology and hands on learning. Janet Wilgenbusch Educational Assistant Mrs. Janet and her family moved to Nashville from Cedar Rapids, IA, in July of 2000. She has been an assistant at St. Edward since 2001.
