____Valentine’s Day Exchange Our Valentine’s Day Exchange will be February 14. If you want to get started early, each child will need to bring in a decorated shoe box. You may decorate it any way you wish. It should have your child’s name printed clearly on the top of the box in large letters. Also, there should be a large slot for the children to put their valentine cards in. It should also have a lid that can lift up or come off for the bigger cards. There is a class list for you to use in your Star Books so your child can write each child’s name on the Valentine cards if they want to. Make sure they put who it is from .
You can do the following activities to help your child at home this quarter: · Practice counting objects and writing numbers 0-31 · Practice writing your last name · Practice new sight words we are learning in class · Read books together and point out sight words we have learned, practice sounding out new words · Count cereal or coins and group them into tens · Practice tying your shoes · Practice reciting The Lord’s Prayer (Our Father)
