Things to Remember:

*Children are not allowed to wear school uniform shorts after Oct. 31.

· Solid white turtlenecks or short sleeved T-shirts with no messages or logos may be worn underneath the shirt. All under-clothing must be white and not show under the shirts.

· You may wear plain crew length or knee socks without any decoration or logos. Socks must be solid white. Girls may choose in cool weather to add solid white, black, navy or skin tone tights and leggings under their socks with the uniform. Footless tights are permitted but it must be covered by the top of the sock.

*Snack and Lunch

*Make sure your child has a healthy snack every day. We have snack at 10:00 so you also need a healthy  breakfast before coming to school.

*Special Snack- Every other week, I am asking a different parent to donate ingredients for our special themed snack or cooking activity. I am going by the survey that you filled out at Orientation, so each parent that wants to donate can take a turn. If you are not able to send in the ingredients on the list, please let me know, and I will purchase them or ask another parent if they can volunteer. Thank you for making our learning special!

*Letter-Sound Expert Discovery Bag- Each child will have a turn being the Letter-Sound Expert of the day. I will send a literacy bag with your child, and you will have two days to work on it and send it back to school. Each child will teach us about one letter of the alphabet. Please help your child with this learning activity.

*Birthday Discovery Bag- When it is your child’s birthday, they will take the birthday bag home, and fill out a sheet for our class book. They will also get to read our favorite books with Birthday Bear.
