Religious Education Coordinator
Angela Peach has been the Director of Religious Education at St. Edward since 2012. The DRE develops educational and spiritual formation programs for both children and adults including the Parish Religious Education Program for elementary children, adult offerings, and RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adult which is the program adults learn about and enter the Catholic faith.
Angela holds a master’s degree in Theological Studies from St. Meinrad School of Theology and is a Certified Catechist for the Diocese of Nashville. Her other ministry and leadership experience includes Secretary of the Nashville Diocesan Director of Religious Education Association, mentor and Coordinator of Fiat, a virtue based Diocesan group forming six to twelve grade girls, leader of young adult ministries at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, and facilitating a Theology of the Body Study group for the Diocese of Nashville.
Angela is also an Occupational Therapist, which assists her in recognizing the unique learning needs of each individual the parish serves through these programs, often leading to adaptive teaching techniques that help our parishioners access the Sacraments according to each individual’s abilities.
Outside of time spent in Church, Angela’s husband and baby keep her grounded and well-loved.
