All About Me 

I grew up in Southern Indiana with 3 sisters and 1 brother, my parents are Ralph and Kathleen Bettag.  Upon graduating from high school, I moved to Terre Haute, IN to attend Indiana State University—home of Larry Bird.  I met my future husband in college and after I graduated with my Bachelor Degree in Mathematics Education, we married and moved to Nashville.  I taught at Cheatham County High School and Page High School before moving to Illinois.  While in Illinois, I attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and earned my Masters Degree in Mathematics with an emphasis on Education.  My husband and I then moved to Evansville, IN where I taught all levels of mathematics and coached track for 5.5 years at Memorial High School.  It was during our years in Evansville that Justin and Kristin were born.  We moved to Franklin, TN due to work and I stayed at home with Justin and Kristin until Kristin started Kindergarten and Justin started 2^nd grade at SES.  I then taught Jr. High at St. Bernard Academy for 3 years.  Finally, I came to St. Edward’s to teach Jr. High in 2006.  I feel very blessed to be teaching at such a special school!
