Advent by Candlelight

Advent by Candlelight has become a beloved tradition at St. Edward. It is an evening for women to step away from the busyness of the holiday season to focus on the importance of Advent. The evening begins in the gym for food and fellowship. Women in the parish serve as hostesses as they prepare festive holiday tables and desserts. After the time of fellowship, the women move to the church for the Liturgy of the Word, music, and the opportunity to hear a personal witness from two women in the community. These women share how God is present in their lives through the joys and sorrows they've experienced. Advent by Candlelight takes place on the first Thursday evening of Advent.
All are welcome and invited to attend.
