St. Vincent de Paul is in need of your help. Now, more than ever, our neighboring community is in need of assistance. Below are some of the jobs typically performed by St. Vincent de Paul. Food Pantry: Help to collect, organize, and distribute food as needed.
Furniture: Organize furniture donations. Be aware of furniture supply so that you can assist those requesting furniture. Keep an eye out for furniture that is needed. Communicate with "heavy lifter" group to load, unload if necessary.
Heavy Lifters: This group will be needed occasionally to move, lift and set-up. Pick-up trucks are desirable, but not necessary.
Last Resort : Group will assist people requesting help with utilities being shut off.
Disaster Resources: Emergency support for families or individuals affected by fire, tornados, storms, etc.
Linens: Sort, wash, fold, label and organize sheets and towels. Prepare for distribution
Communication: Prepare regular informational articles for St. Edward bulletin as well as other local churches.
Baby Needs: Collect, sort and organize diapers and other baby items. Prepare for distribution.
Collection Scheduler: Person needed to create schedule and send reminders to those collecting on weekends after Mass.
Bicycle Ministry: Collect, clean and repair old bikes for sale or distribution.
Angel Tree: Work with Carolyn to organize Angel Tree (November - December).
